Authorities in Tây Ninh Province have launched criminal proceedings after discovering 104 wild animals being kept without legal documentation at a wildlife breeding facility in Phước Thạnh Commune. A stump-tailed macaque has been rescued and transferred to the Centre for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Creatures under Phong Nha–Kẻ Bàng National Park for rehabilitation before its planned release into the wild. The male macaque, weighing about 3.5kg, was discovered in a resident’s garden in Quảng Trị Province, where the finder voluntarily reported the protected animal to local authorities for safe rescue.
