Vietnamese car maker VinFast Auto reported strong sales growth today. Domestic sales of clean cars jumped twenty-one percent in July. Total sales reached 21,781 units for the single month. The firm continues to lead the home automotive market.
The company delivered 137,697 cars in Vietnam in the first seven months of 2026. This strong growth proves that electric cars are very popular among local drivers.
The small VF 3 was the top seller in July with 5,564 units handed over to buyers. The compact model fits well in busy city spaces. Combined sales of the VF 5 and Herio Green models took second place with 4,407 units. The Limo Green followed closely behind with 4,404 vehicles delivered. Other popular models included the Minio Green, VF 6, and VF MPV 7.
Year to date figures show that the Limo Green remains the top seller overall with 32,331 units sold. The VF 3 is in second place with 29,345 units. Combined sales of the VF 5 and Herio Green hit 24,574 units.
The car maker also opened pre-orders for the new VF 2 model in July. Buyers placed roughly 28,700 reservations within the first three days. Deliveries of the new VF 8 platform will start this month, while VF 2 deliveries begin in September.
Some delivered vehicles will go to a taxi group for export to global markets. The auto maker aims to expand sales across North America, Europe, and Asia. Strong local demand gives the brand momentum to grow in new markets worldwide.
Drivers like the low fuel costs and quiet ride of clean cars. Local green policies also encourage drivers to trade in old gas cars. The rise in charging spots makes long trips easy for everyday drivers. The future looks bright for clean driving across the nation.
