Vietnam’s National Cybersecurity Center in Hà Nội operates around the clock to protect the country’s digital infrastructure, safeguard sensitive information, and strengthen national cybersecurity. Managed by the Ministry of Public Security’s Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05), the facility continuously monitors cyber threats targeting government agencies, businesses, and citizens.
Cybersecurity officials work 24/7 to detect, assess, and respond to potential digital risks while protecting critical information systems and national data. In the first half of 2026, authorities investigated numerous major cybersecurity cases, prosecuted hundreds of suspects, and shut down thousands of illegal websites, applications, and e-wallets linked to online gambling and unauthorized financial activities.
According to official data, Vietnam has also seen a decline in cyberattacks compared with the previous year, reflecting the impact of increased investment in cybersecurity capabilities and stronger digital protection measures. As the country accelerates its digital transformation, the National Cybersecurity Center continues to play a vital role in defending cyberspace, enhancing cyber resilience, and ensuring a safer digital environment for individuals, businesses, and public institutions.
